These routines strengthen underused muscles so that painful muscles aren’t working as hard.  It’s human nature to develop habits, and the body is no different.  The way we sit, stand, walk, and move are habitual. These routines help the body to develop new habits.

    They should not cause you pain.  If they do, you’re not doing them quite right.  Tell me, and we’ll correct the problem together.  If you have any questions, you know where to find me.

Often times we’re wound up and don’t realize it, as if our engine is revving too high.  A wound up nervous system can make us feel wired and restless, or it can make us feel achy and tired.   These routines bring down our RPMs, so to speak, allowing the body to soften and let go of tension.  

If you’re one of the few who experience an opposite effect, there’s a reason for that. Don’t worry.  Talk to me about it, and we’ll get it sorted out.

This video relieves a painful area
The subconscious mind is in charge of muscle flexion and release, as well as chronic tension. Chronic tension is caused by a muscle being flexed for long periods of time, sometimes 24-7.  The conscious and subconscious parts of our mind communicate with each other via the imagination.  

This technique (a skill, which must be practiced) uses the imagination to connect with and release painful areas in your body. 

This video, on its own, won’t solve your pain.  It is a small part of a pain management program that I offer.
